Vacation Bible School 2018!
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Join us for Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School 2018! Venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive, anchoring kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life's storms! Our activities will include inventions and creations to help us celebrate our own unique design by our loving creator God. At VBS, kids rotate through stations like Bible Discovery where they hear and engage in a story from God's Word; Music Time where they sing and dance to songs that reinforce Bible truths; Outdoor Games where they play team building games; Snack Factory where they dig into yummy treats; Imagination Station where they play with science-type gadgets that reinforce the Biblical truth; and Shipwrecked Crafts. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a VBS Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:45 a.m.
Each child will receive a T-shirt and CD of all the music we sing at VBS.
$15/child, max $30/two or more children
(Includes T-shirt and Snacks)
Ages 4 - upcoming Grade 6*
(toilet trained please)
*Please note that if your child is going into 5th/6th grade, they will participate in our pre-teen VBS which is located offsite at our beautiful outdoor church camp in Post Falls called Camp White. We will meet at Millwood Presbyterian each morning and then transport the kids in our church vans (about a 20 minute drive). Space is limited to 26 kids. If more than 26 enroll, we do ask parents to drive their 5th/6th grader out to Camp White. You will need to sign a permission form on the first day to allow them to ride on our church vans. If weather is nice, we will give them time for swimming. Please have them bring swimsuits/towels/sunscreen in a backpack. Swimming area is sectioned off for shallow and deep end. All kids must pass a swim test where they swim from dock to dock (about 30 yards) in order to go in the deep end with slides and diving boards.
