Millwood Presbyterian Kitchen Ministry
Mission & Vision
The goal of the Kitchen Ministry is to empower people with skills to prepare inexpensive and healthy meals with whole foods that are readily available in our region of abundant agricultural resources. In this work we seek to gather people into meaningful relationships around food, remembering the central role that meals and sharing a table played in Jesus' ministry.
We partner with Second Harvest Inland Northwest in this work through cooking classes offered at the Crawford Community Kitchen in the Millwood Community Center, located next to the church.
Our hope is that the kitchen will become a fun place of learning skills, building community, and sharing the love of God.

Millwood Community Presbyterian Church will be hosting two, four-week "Cooking Matters in Your Community" cooking classes this fall in the new community center's Crawford Community Kitchen. These classes will focus on basic food preparation skills and safety. We will also discuss nutritional topics and learn new ways to make quick, affordable, nutritious and tasty meals. The classes are open to adults but children older than 10 years may attend with a parent or guardian.
Please meet in the lobby of the Community Center (located behind the main church building) at 5:25, wear close-toed shoes, and tie back long hair.
All are welcome!
