Year 2010 Operating Fund Commitments

Give Thanks

Offering Booklets: Millwood Community Presbyterian Church will provide “Offering Booklets” to everyone who responds with a fiscal resource commitment in the spaces provided above.  The booklets contain pre-addressed envelopes for your use in making contributions to the church.  The envelopes are designed for the convenience of the contributor and the Church Financial Officer in maintaining a record of contributions for IRS purposes.  The booklets will be available in early January 2010 for your pickup at the Church.  You will receive occasional giving statements during the year.  Any designated giving will need to be indicated on the check or envelope.  Note that the IRS requires proof of financial donations in order to itemize them on tax returns.  We are not able to properly report cash contributions that are not accompanied by your name on an envelope.  Let us know if you need any help with stock donations or other special gifts.

Confidentiality:  All information provided on this page will be considered confidential between you, God and MCPC.  Only MCPC personnel, not including the pastor, who have specific fiduciary responsibilities in managing and administering the financial resources of the church, will have access to this information.  Should you have any concerns regarding the confidentiality of this information, please contact Rich Harvey, finance elder.

Per Capita: Note that the per capita for 2010 is $27.50.  It is the practice of many in the church to designate giving for this “fee” we give to support the administration of our Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly.
