Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study:

The men of Millwood meet every Tuesday at 7am at Perkins restaurant on Argonne and I-90. We are currently studying the book of Hebrews.

Dan Webster is an author, teacher, speaker, mentor and founder of Authentic Leadership, Inc. He has over thirty years of experience working with leaders from all walks of life—CEO’s, executives, teachers, youth workers, pastors an leaders of nonprofit corporations—training and inspiring people to fight for their extraordinary lives. A graduate of Fuller Seminary and former staff member at Willow Creek Community Church outside Chicago, Dan has trained individuals and leadership teams at many of the country’s major corporations. Dan is an author of five books, including his latest, The Real Deal: Becoming More Authentic in Life and Leadership, upon which the retreat is based.Register early! Millwood Community Garden Meeting, March 11, 7pm - Friday, March 05, 2010
West Valley residents, businesses and churches are partnering with Inland Empire Paper to organize a community garden at the site of the old pumpkin patch on the corner of Argonne and Maringo. There are plans for individual plots, row crops for Second Harvest Food Bank, and a native wildflower border. Come to the meeting if you are interested in learning more or participating. Meeting at the Crossing Youth Center, 8919 East Euclid, Spokane, WA 99212. 
Millwood Food Bank March 12, 12-2 pm - Friday, March 05, 2010
Millwood Presbyterian is partnering with Second Harvest Inland Northwest and others to distribute fresh and healthy food to low income families and those in need of food assistance. No appointment or documentation is necessary to participate. Recipients must be present in order to receive food.  Please bring a box. The Food Bank distribution takes place in the church parking lot, 3223 N. Marguerite Rd., and is available the second Friday of every month from 12 – 2
